The Model 4200 Bio-concentrator, Model 4220 and 4240 Aerosol Concentrators are high performance, precision, particle concentrating aerosol samplers for biological agent detection. Key advantages of these products over conventional technology is compact size, very high efficiency, combined with very low, particle loss.

Ambient air is sampled at 330L/ minute through an inlet scalper to remove particles larger than 10µm in aerodynamic equivalent diameter.

The large particles are discarded by an ejector along with 30 L/minute of the scalper minor air flow.

Sensitivity is increased by up to 300x while minimizing internal particle losses using this valveless design. The Model 4220 is small in size and quite portable, operating at 150 watts per hour.

The Model 4240 Aerosol Concentrator operates at 1.0um, 300:1 LPM concentration and is small in size, quite portable, operating at 1000 watts per hour.
