High Volume Virtual Impactors
The HVVI is a high volume virtual impactor classifier for
size separation of aerosol particles. The 1130 L/min (40- cfm)
version has a cut-point diameter of 2.5 µm. The 300-L/min
version has available cut-point diameters of 2.5 and 1.0 µm.
The device can be used to obtain size-fractionated aerosol samples
for air pollution research and for industrial applications.
